2012 Indian Film Festival

Next Monday, 11th June heralds the opening night of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. This film festival provides a great opportunity to view some of the most interesting cinema in the world; with cinematic gems from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Festival coordinator Rose Damon tells us to expect everything From Tamil action flicks to Bengali art house, to dazzling Bollywood extravaganzas” with the festival returning “with over 40 hot new films. Although the festival screenings take place at Hoyts Melbourne Central, and Hoyts Chadstonethis festival might actually be the only good time to visit a mainstream cinema.
